Bob Stewart is joining Votem as its Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and a member of its senior leadership team effective immediately. Bob most recently served as the Chief Operating Officer and elected member of the Board of Directors of Sonavation, Inc. Bob was instrumental in turning the company’s products around, focusing efforts on the delivery of the company’s IDkey consumer and enterprise devices containing, industrial and mobile fingertip biometric identification and access control products, solutions and services.
Bob’s professional focus has been on the convergence of technological systems capable of positive intrinsic disruption of current paradigms in research in the fields of healthcare, privacy, biometrics, identity, physical and cyber security.

Bob served as Internet CTO of Motorola’s $1B Internet and Networking Group where he implemented their first X.509 v3 PKI and earned Motorola’s highest technical ladder rank of Strategic Adviser Technical Analyst. Additionally, Bob earned global recognition as CTO for CMGI portfolio companies Planet Direct, CMGI Solutions, MyWay.com and Elon Musk’s first company Zip2.com and is the author of http://OpenSDLC com.
Bob will also be helping with Votem’s business development and capital raising efforts after helping to raise $50mm in seed capital since 2013 and performing due diligence for a number of VC firms over his career.
Bob remarked, “I want to leave this world a better place and firmly believe that our constitutional republic as a system of government must be supported by an election system that is beyond reproach. This is a legacy I am determined to leave for my children, my fellow Americans and all citizens in democratic countries around the world. I am eager to help the great team at Votem make this vision a reality.”
